MONMOUTH, Ore. – The Central Washington University men's basketball team (13-6, 7-2 GNAC) finished its road trip with a convincing win over Western Oregon University (4-15, 1-8 GNAC), defeating the Wolves 93-71 Saturday evening.

"The team did a great job of defending the three-point line today. That was the difference in the game. Cavin, Garrett, and Brad all had it going offensively. A lot of their buckets coming from Jordan. That was the best passing game of his college career. He did an incredible job of creating for others. Sisk came in and gave us a big boost too with 9 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 blocks."

- The Wildcats' scoring leader was Garrett Anderson, who racked up 24 total points.
- Central had a strong offensive presence with four players reaching double figures in scoring including Anderson, Cavin Holden (20), Bradley Swillie (15), and Jordan Clark (11).
- The 'Cats' rebound performance recovered well from Thursday's game, with multiple players recording several boards led by Calvin Sisk with nine rebounds, including four offensive boards.

First Half
- Both teams began the game hot, trading points to make it an 11-9 lead for WOU in the first three minutes.
- Central hit a surge, scoring 12 straight points to take a 21-11 lead.

- CWU hit a pair of three-pointers from Anderson and Holden to make it a 38-23 lead with 6:46 left in the half.

Second Half
- Central continued its momentum to start the second half, going on a 16-8 run in the first five minutes.
- Jason Gallant got three points to try and stop the run, but Maverick Sanders answered with two points on a layup.
- The Wildcats got five points to make it 77-46, then the Wolves answered with six points with 10:52 remaining.
- Western Oregon showed perseverance for the final 10 minutes of the game, scoring 19 points, but CWU used the clock to its advantage and closed the game with 16 points to claim the 93-71 victory for the Crimson and Black.
