ELLENSBURG, Wash. – The Central Washington University volleyball team (12-5, 8-2 GNAC) return home to the 'Burg to host a pair of matches this week–taking on Seattle Pacific (8-11, 3-8 GNAC) on Thursday, Oct. 30, and then Montana State Billings (1-15, 0-11 GNAC) on Saturday, Nov. 1 at Nicholson Arena.

PREVIOUSLY FOR THE 'CATS
Central had a single-game week previously–defeating Northwest Nazarene in a sweep to get the Wildcats back in the winning column after falling to Alaska the week prior. The Nighthawks were competitive with CWU throughout the match with the Crimson and Black only winning by five or less in sets two and three.
A strong team performance, the Wildcats were led offensively by
Scottie Ellsworth with nine kills, followed by
Ella Bines with eight, and
Ellie Marble,
Corinne Westby, and
Kailey Willsey each recorded seven kills.
Addie Allen kept the offense rolling with her 19 total assists, while she and Westby led in service aces with two each. Defensively,
Brooklyn Parker led the back line with 17 digs, while Ellsworth and Willsey each recorded four blocks.
ABOUT THE FALCONS
SPU had a good run following its previous matchup with the 'Cats–defeating MSUB and Western Oregon. However, the Falcons saw their next three matches fall to Saint Martin's, #19 Western Washington, and #8 Simon Fraser for an 8-11 record entering this week.
Megan Omlid leads the Falcons in two offensive categories with 237 kills and 26 service aces, while Sophia Chambers leads in assists with 502. On the defensive side, Christina Lopez leads with 339 digs, and Elle McCandless leads at the net with 63 total blocks.
The Wildcats and Falcons hit the court on Thursday evening. First serve from Nicholson Arena is set for 7:00 p.m.
ABOUT THE YELLOWJACKETS
MSUB has had a tough season, as the Yellowjackets haven't seen a win since Sep. 11, as they enter this week at 0-11 in conference play.
The 'Jackets are led, offensively, by Jordan Taulua with 116 kills, while Kenzie Allen leads in assists with 213. Allie Dorman leads at the service line with 19 aces. Avarey Stuff leads the defensive line with 158 digs, and Marissa Allen leads in blocks with 33.
The Wildcats face the Yellowjackets on Saturday afternoon, with first serve from Nicholson Arena scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
