PORTLAND, Ore.- Ella Bines of the Central Washington University volleyball team has been named the Great Northwest Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week following standout performances in victories over Montana State Billings and Seattle Pacific University.

RESULTS
Bines led the Wildcats to a pair of road wins last week, helping CWU defeat Montana State Billings 3-0 on Thursday and edge out Seattle Pacific 3-2 on Saturday, improving the team's conference record to 4-1.
Bines delivered a highly efficient performance against Montana State Billings, recording nine kills on a .667 hitting percentage. She followed that with a breakout showing in a five-set thriller against Seattle Pacific, racking up a season-high 20 kills on a .452 attack percentage and finishing with 21 total points.
For the week, Bines totaled 29 kills, 30 points, and a .511 hitting percentage, committing just seven errors on 43 swings and averaging 3.62 kills per set. Her 20-kill performance marked the fifth 20-kill match by a GNAC player this season.

Bines and the Wildcats return to action this week, hosting Western Oregon on Thursday, Oct. 9 at 7:00 p.m., followed by a matchup against Saint Martin's on Saturday, Oct. 11 at 1:00 p.m. Both matches will take place at Nicholson Arena. Â
