ELLENSBURG, Wash. – The Central Washington University volleyball team (9-4, 5-1 GNAC) kicked off its homestand with a strong 3-1 victory over the Western Oregon Wolves (1-13, 0-6 GNAC) Thursday night.
Quoting Head Coach Mario Andaya
"Western Oregon served hard, passed well and played good defense. We didn't pass well, but our passers remained gritty and came up big when we needed it most. Offensively, we had trouble scoring but found some big kills at crucial times."
