PORTLAND, Ore. – The Great Northwest Athletic Conference (GNAC) announced that
Jordan Clark of the Central Washington University men's basketball team (2-1) was named the first player of the week of the 2025-26 season on Monday afternoon.
Quoting Head Coach Brandon Rinta
"Jordan came up with some big plays this weekend to help us beat two quality teams. He did a good job of controlling the tempo and keeping our team organized offensively."
Results
Clark led the Wildcats to two wins in their first weekend in the CCA DII Canadian Tip-Off Classic.
In the win over Cal State San Bernardino, Clark led the team with 24 points and shot .600 from the field in the Crimson and Black's 71-63 victory.
Against Central Oklahoma the following day, he once again led the team with 21 points, while going 6-7 in free throw attempts, as the 'Cats defeated the Bronchos 75-65.
Overall, for his first week of the season, Clark recorded 47 points, nine rebounds, six assists, and shot a .410 field goal percentage.

Clark and the Wildcats head back out on the road in two weeks, when they head to Seaside, Calif. for the West Region Crossover–taking on Menlo College on Nov. 14 at 5:30 p.m., and then Cal State Monterey Bay on Nov. 15 at 5:00 p.m. Both games will take place at The Kelp Bed on the campus of CSUMB.
