ELLENSBURG, Wash. – The Central Washington University men's basketball team (5-6, 0-2 GNAC) enters the final week of the year of 2025, as the Wildcats host the Evergreen State College Geoducks (0-4, 0-2 CCC) on Saturday, Dec. 13, before the Eagles of Northwest University (2-6, 0-2 CCC) on Monday, Dec. 15.

PREVIOUSLY FOR THE 'CATS
Central had a tough start to conference play as the Wildcats fell to Simon Fraser 79-89 last Thursday, then dropped a close game to Western Washington 95-97 on Saturday to fall to 0-2 in conference play.
The 'Cats were led by
Chae Haynes with 38 points, followed by
Jordan Clark with 37. Haynes also led in rebounds with 17 boards, while
Jalen Childs led in passing with seven assists.
Jamari Harris and
Eli Williams led in steals with three takeaways, while Haynes led in blocks with three.
ABOUT THE GEODUCKS
Evergreen State is winless so far this season, including dropping six exhibition contests. The Geoducks had several close matches, falling to Benedictine University Mesa 87-91 on Nov. 13, and then Pacific Lutheran University 73-77 on Dec. 2.
The Geoducks are led by Tony Frohlich-Fair, who has recorded 82 points, 23 rebounds, and gone 29-67 for a .433 shooting percentage. Frohlich-Fair shares the lead with Bradley Graham in passing with eight assists. Kenzel Massey leads the Geoducks in steals with eight takeaways, while Gabriel Wigginton guards the net with three blocks.
The Wildcats and the Geoducks face off on Saturday, Dec. 13. Tip-off from Nicholson Arena is set for 4:00 p.m.
ABOUT THE EAGLES
Northwest started its season going 2-6, while remaining winless in CCC play. The Eagles had strong wins over Park University Gilbert 80-68 on Nov. 7, and the University of Providence 94-82 on Nov. 15. Since then, the Eagles have dropped four straight.
Northwest is led by Christian Watkins, who's recorded 125 points, 30 assists, and 30 steals. Andrew Iyamah leads at the net with 13 blocks, while Logan Stempniak leads on the glass with 44 rebounds, including 10 offensive boards.
The Wildcats take on the Eagles on Monday, Dec. 15. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
