ELLENSBURG, Wash. – Central Washington University Athletics is excited to announce that 2026-27 Wildcat Basketball season tickets are now on sale, giving fans the opportunity to secure their seats for another great season of Central Washington Men's and Women's Basketball inside Nicholson Arena.
Fans will have plenty of opportunities to experience Wildcat Basketball at Nicholson Arena during the 2026-27 season, with season ticket holders receiving access to 30 Wildcat games inside Nicholson Arena, including an additional 14 neutral-site games taking place as part of the CWU D2 Tip-Off Classic and the CWU Women's Basketball Thanksgiving Tournament.
Season tickets are available for $160 per person for reserved lower-level chair-back seating, $130 for upper-level chair-back seating, or $110 for bench seating general admission. CWU faculty and staff with an ID can purchase upper-level chair-back seating for $110 or bench seating general admission for $100. Senior citizens aged 65 and up can purchase upper-level chair-back seating for $110 or bench seating general admission for $100. Season tickets for students in grades K-12 are available in the upper-level chair-back seating for $65 or bench seating general admission for $60. CWU students with a valid ID and children aged five and under are admitted for free.
The upcoming season will begin on Halloween weekend with a major Division II basketball showcase as CWU hosts the CWU D2 Tip-Off Classic, bringing both the Wildcat men's and women's programs together as part of a 12-team weekend tournament hosted inside Nicholson Arena.
On the men's side, CWU will welcome Cal State San Bernardino, Chico State, and Lubbock Christian along with fellow GNAC teams Montana State Billings and Western Washington. The Wildcat men will open their season on Friday, October 30 at 3:00 p.m. against Chico State, then will face CSUSB on Halloween also at 3:00 p.m. before wrapping up the weekend against Lubbock Christian on Sunday, November 1 at 3:00 p.m.
The women's side will feature Midwestern State, Minnesota State Moorhead, and UT Tyler along with the counterparts of the men's GNAC squads heading to The 'Burg that will feature the women's squads of MSUB and WWU. The CWU Women's Basketball Team will open their season against MSU Moorhead on Friday, October 30 at 1:00 p.m., then clashing with Midwestern State on Halloween at 1:00 p.m., and wrapping up the weekend against UTT at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 1.
With 18 games scheduled in Nicholson Arena across the three-day event, the D2 Tip-Off Classic will provide fans with an early opportunity to see high-level Division II basketball while welcoming programs from across the country to Ellensburg.
Following the CWU D2 Tip-Off Classic, the excitement continues throughout the season with a full slate of GNAC basketball at Nicholson Arena. Wildcat fans will have the opportunity to see the nine other GNAC members come to Ellensburg along with a four-game CWU Women's Basketball Thanksgiving Tournament that features fellow GNAC member WWU along with California schools Cal State San Marcos and Westmont. The men's basketball team will also welcome in-state rivals Evergreen State and Walla Walla for a pair of nonconference matchups while the women's basketball team welcomes Eastern Oregon and Biola for a pair of holiday break clashes.
