PORTLAND, Ore. – The Great Northwest Athletic Conference (GNAC) announced on Monday afternoon that Ellie Marble of the Central Washington volleyball team was named GNAC Offensive Player of the Week. The honor marks the second Player of the Week award of her career and her first of the 2026 season.

"It has been really fun to watch Ellie's game transform over the last six months. She put in a lot of work offensively last spring, and to see her reap the benefits this fall is special. Ellie sets the bar in our gym; she is the heartbeat of our team, and her leadership was critical to our success last week."
 
Results
Marble helped lead the Wildcats to a pair of conference sweeps over Alaska Anchorage and Alaska Fairbanks.
 
Against Alaska Anchorage on Thursday, Marble recorded a match-high 17 kills while adding 11 digs to secure her second double-double of the season. She also served up two aces and finished with a .378 hitting percentage in the three-set victory.
 
She followed that performance with 13 kills and a .407 hitting percentage in Saturday's sweep of Alaska Fairbanks. Marble added three digs and a block assist while helping the Wildcats complete an unbeaten weekend.
 
Overall, Marble led all GNAC players with 5.00 kills per set and 5.58 points per set during the week. Across six sets, she totaled 30 kills, hit .391, added 14 digs, and contributed 33.5 points while powering the Wildcats to two conference wins.
