ELLENSBURG, Wash. – The Central Washington University volleyball team hits the road this week for a pair of GNAC matches against Western Oregon and Saint Martin's. Riding the momentum of back-to-back sweeps at home, the Wildcats improved to 2-2 in conference play following wins over RV Alaska Anchorage and then-No. 19 Alaska Fairbanks and will look to carry that form into the road trip.

LAST WEEKEND:

Central picked up two impressive straight-set victories at Nicholson Arena, sweeping RV Alaska Anchorage on Thursday before defeating No. 19 Alaska Fairbanks on Saturday. The Wildcats hit .319 against the Seawolves and .309 against the Nanooks while limiting their opponents to attack percentages of .128 and .100, respectively. Ellie Marble led the offense with 30 kills across the two matches, including 17 against Anchorage and 13 against Fairbanks. Brooklyn Parker totaled 35 digs during the weekend, while Kayleigh-Shay Chang combined for 40 assists and four service aces.

SCOUTING THE WOLVES:
 
Western Oregon enters Thursday's matchup with a 6-5 overall record and a 2-1 mark in GNAC play. The Wolves are coming off a split weekend that included a five-set loss at Seattle Pacific before rebounding with a four-set win over Montana State Billings. The Wolves feature a balanced offensive lineup led by former Wildcat Payton Davis, who averages 3.83 kills per set and ranks as the team's primary attacking threat with 134 kills. Kate Markley also averages 2.79 kills per set, while Samantha Darby directs the offense with 7.00 assists per set. Defensively, Kate Klobas anchors the net with 39 total blocks, and Madi Noel leads the back row with 106 digs.
 
SCOUTING THE SAINTS:

Saint Martin's enters the week at 5-6 overall and 1-2 in GNAC play. The Saints earned their first conference victory with a sweep of Montana State Billings before falling in straight sets at Seattle Pacific last weekend. Emily Garten leads the Saints offensively with 141 kills and 3.36 kills per set. Olivia Bassett adds 2.72 kills per set, while setter Sophie Fast runs the offense at 7.59 assists per set. Defensively, Tiffany Lam paces the team with 161 digs, and Hanna Ligons leads the blocking effort with 39 total blocks.
