Biography

CENTRAL WASHINGTON UNIVERSITY: Dom Williams was a redshirt during the 2013-14 season. He joined the Wildcat basketball program in the 2012-13 season, following a two-year stint at Tacoma Community College. During the 2012-13 season, Williams started 19 games and played in 27 total throughout the season, averaging nine points per game.
TACOMA COMMUNITY COLLEGE (2010-2011): Williams began his collegiate basketball career at TCC, where he appeared in 29 games as a freshman. He averaged 11 points per game, with a high of 22 points. During his sophomore year, he averaged 14 points per game with a career high of 36 points in the Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges championship game. Williams also recorded 81 assists and grabbed 103 rebounds during his second season at TCC.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2010 Curtis High School graduate, Williams was named to the all-state 4A first-team as well at the first-team all-league. He set several school records as a Viking, including leading the team to a 19-1 record during his senior year, with a 36-point top single game performance.
PERSONAL: Williams was born in Tacoma, Wash., to his mother, Sierra Raynor, and father, Jesse Williams. He is majoring in sociology. When he’s not on the court, Dom enjoys playing NBA 2K, as his favorite basketball player and friend, former University of Washington standout Isaiah Thomas, who now is a member of the Phoenix Suns. Dom admits that he is also really good at playing pool. To get ready for a big game, Dom puts on Nipsey Hussle’s “The Outro.”
