Biography

2015: Medically redshirted. 

High School: Graduated from Ingraham High School in Seattle in 2011. Metro League Defensive Player of the Year as a senior for the Rams and head coach Eli Smith.
 
College: Joined the Wildcats as a walk-on in August 2011... Redshirted in 2011... Played in all 11 games in 2012, including starting the last eight... Played all 11 games in 2013, starting nine at left defensive end. Named to the all-GNAC second team. Was third in the conference in fumble recoveries... Led the team with four quarterback hits... Also blocked a kick... Over two years, more than a quarter of his tackles have been behind the line of scrimmage... Wore the prestigous number 44 in 2014... The number is worn annually by a defensive player who exemplifies the high standards of the CWU defense: dedication, toughness, discipline and tenacity. It is awarded by the player who wore the jersey the previous year... Sanchez was named to the All-GNAC first team in 2014 and was named GNAC Defensive Lineman of the Year... He tallied 55 total tackles and 12 sacks, good for second in the GNAC.
