2015: Ranked third in the nation in all-purpose yards (1,674)... Recieved Second Team All-American and First Team All-Conference recognition... Started in nine games... Tallied 31 kick returns for 813 yards, including a 95 yard touchdown... Returned 19 punts for 176 yards and one touchdown... Caught 43 passes for 675 yards and four touchdowns... Rushed three times for 18 yards.

High School: Graduated from Prairie High School in Brush Prairie in 2012. Three-year letterman in football for the Falcons. Also competed in track and field for two seasons.
 
College: Signed a National Letter of Intent with CWU in February 2012.  Redshirted in 2012. Had a breakthrough campaign in 2013, being named an all-GNAC second-team performer as both a receiver and kick returner. Led the team and was seventh in the GNAC in receptions (47), which included two touchdowns, No. 8 in conference in receptions per game (4.3), second in GNAC in kick return average (31.0), and fifth in conference kick return yardage (403), which included a 75-yard TD return. He recorded 846 all-purpose yards during the season. Selected to the 2014 Beyond Sports Network GNAC Preseason All Conference team... In 2014, Zalk was named to the All-GNAC first team as a kick returner as he returned one of two kicks for a touchdown in the GNAC andf totaled 611 return yards on kicks... Zalk also hauled in 43 catches for 456 yards and seven touchdowns.
