Biography
CENTRAL WASHINGTON UNIVERSITY: (2013) Julie Hulbert played in 12 matches starting in one for the Wildcats. She set a career-highs with seven kills, seven blocks, and 21 attacks in a match against Grand Valley State pm Sept. 14. She was selected to the Academic All-GNAC team with a 3.42 grade-point-average.
(2012) Hulbert saw action in 12 of the Wildcats’ 29 matches in 2012, with three starts. She set a career-high with six kills against Walla Walla on Oct. 30.
(2011) Played in 12 matches during the 2011 season.
(2010) Redshirted the 2010 season.
(2009) Signed a National Letter of Intent with the Wildcats in November.
LA CONNER HIGH SCHOOL: Hulbert graduated from La Conner High School in La Conner, Wash., in 2010. A four-year letter winner in volleyball for the Braves and head coach Suzanne Marble. Named co-Player of the Year honors in the Northwest 2B League as a senior. Also selected to the all-state tournament team as a senior. She was a member of back-to-back state championship teams as a freshman and sophomore.
PERSONAL: Hulbert was born in La Conner, Washington. Hulbert is a declared nutrition major.
