High School: Graduated from James Logan High School in California. Castro played four years of football and baseball. He holds his high schools record for longest kickoff return (98 yards).  

College: Played football at Ohio Northern University before transferring to Chabot College where he was a two sport standout in football and baseball. Castro will be a senior this up coming season.
