ONLINE PASS
Friday's games will occur during Campus Parking Enforcement hours of operation. Due to that, patrons will need a guest parking pass if you don't already have a CWU pass in order to park in the paved parking lots closest to Nicholson Arena (Lots Q-14 and S-10). Lot Q-14 (in front of Nicholson Arena) has a kiosk on the west side of the parking lot (red star on the parking map) where you can purchase a parking pass on site.
ELLENSBURG & SNOQUALMIE PASS WEATHER UPDATE
Fans traveling to Ellensburg this week should be aware of the weather, in particular on Snoqualmie Pass (the pass that connects Ellensburg and Seattle that I-90 goes through) and may want to consider alternatives if possible. If flying, fans may want to consider flying into the Spokane or the Portland, Ore. areas where the weather will be much more manageable enroute to Ellensburg in contrast to flying into Seattle and having to cross Snoqualmie Pass. There is also a smaller airport in nearby Yakima (only about a 30-40 minute drive to Ellensburg) that could be an option for fans flying in.
We suggest following the Washington State Department of Transportation websites below that have up-to-date information including restrictions and closures:
Snoqualmie Pass Summit Weather:
HERE
Snoqualmie Pass Travel Conditions:
HERE
The pass often closes when it snows heavily and the pass is projected to get many inches of snow this week leading up to the start of the tournament (see below).
