Central Washington University: (2014): Williams had a breakout year in 2014 resulting in GNAC Pitcher of the Year honors...Williams appeared in 14 games with 13 starts, he posted 9 wins, 6 complete games, 89 strikeouts, and an incredible 1.81 ERA...Williams also earned second-team Daktronics all-west region, and second-team NCBWA all-west region honors for his play in 2014... 
 
Mount Hood Community College: Prior to CWU, Williams played one season at Mount Hood Community College (OR). He helped the Saints to a 31 win season in 2013, going 5-2 with 3.73 earned run average (ERA), with 36 strikeouts in 43 innings and one complete game.
 
Washington State University: Williams started his collegiate career at Washington State University. He played immediately as a freshman in 2011 appearing in 11 games, compiling a 7.00 ERA and 14 strikeouts. In 2012, Williams redshirted for the Cougars.
 
High School: Williams graduated from Auburn Mountainview High School in Auburn, Washington. A three time first team All-SPSL 3A selection, Williams was also the Most Valuable Player in the league for his junior season, 2009 which resulted in a 3A state tournament appearance for the Lions.
