Ben Reindel joined the Central Washington University baseball staff as Hitting and Outfield Coach in 2026.
A native of Burien, Wash., Reindel attended Kennedy Catholic High School before earning his degree from Central Washington University in 2016. Throughout his coaching career, he has built a reputation for developing hitters and leading successful programs across multiple sports.
Most recently, Reindel served as Hitting Coach at Oberlin College during the 2025-26 season. Prior to that, he was Head Softball Coach at Owens Community College in 2024 and Hitting Coach for the University of Houston softball program in 2023.
Reindel spent three seasons as Head Baseball Coach at Green River College from 2020-22 and two seasons as Head Softball Coach at Shoreline Community College from 2018-20. He previously served as Assistant Baseball Coach at Shoreline Community College from 2017-18 and Assistant Softball Coach at Seattle University during the 2016-17 season.
Earlier in his career, Reindel was Head Softball Coach at Shoreline Community College from 2013-16, Head Softball Coach at Mount Rainier High School from 2011-13, Head Baseball Coach at Foster High School from 2009-10, Head Baseball Coach at Tyee High School from 2007-08, and Assistant Baseball Coach at Kennedy Catholic High School from 2005-06.
