Brayde Hirai prepares for his 3rd season on the coaching staff for the Central Washington University baseball team.
Prior to joining the coaching staff, Hirai was a member of the Wildcat baseball team–making 31 total appearances on the mound, while logging a 7-12 record, pitching 140 and two-third innings. He recorded an overall ERA of 5.50, as well as 85 strikeouts and three saves in relief.
Before his time at CWU, Hirai spent the 2018 and 2019 seasons as a member of the Walla Walla Community College baseball team-making 13 appearances on the mound for the Warriors. He held a 5.76 ERA through 59.1 innings, while punching out 67 batters.
