Camus joined the Wildcats in the summer of 2016.

In 2018, the Wildcats had the second-lowest ERA in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference.  The CWU pitching staff posted a 3.86 ERA in the GNAC Championship, the lowest among the four participating teams.  The Wildcats threw eight complete games, a conference high, in 2018.

Camus coached 2017 GNAC Pitcher of the Year, Mack Gaul.   The southpaw posted a 6-2 record in 14 starts.  He hurled 76.1 innings, including three complete games, three shutouts, and a 3.18 ERA.  Opposing hitters held a .251 average against.  Gaul fanned 72 hitters in 2017.

Camus was the pitching coach for the Corvallis Knights in both the 2017 and 2018 summer seasons, when the Knights won back-to-back West Coast League Championships.  The Knights' Landen Bourassa was named the WCL Co-Pitcher of the Year in 2018.  Bourassa had a WCL low 1.96 ERA and started in the 2018 WCL All-Star Game in Port Angeles, Wash.  Bourassa was was named to the All-WCL First Team

Prior to CWU, Camus spent two seasons as a graduate assistant under Marty Lees at Washington State.

Camus played four years at Washington State University as a relief pitcher.  In 86 appearances, Camus notched 15 wins and 104 strikeouts.  Opposing hitters hit .262 against the right-hander in his senior season, where he recorded a career high six wins.

He is a native of Olympia, Wash. and resides in Ellensburg, Wash.
