Kurtis Pitcher joined the Wildcat baseball program in the fall of 2013 after working back from injury in his previous time at CWU.
 
Prior to CWU, Pitcher redshirted at Western Oregon University as a freshman in 2010 before injuring his arm and spending next three seasons rehabbing.
 
Pitcher graduated from Klahowya High School in Silverdale, WA. Pitcher was a standout in both baseball and tennis where he earned All-Olympic League honors in both his junior and seasons. As a senior in baseball, he was selected as a member of the 2A All-State team.
 
Pitcher was born in Rancho Cucamonga, California to parents David and Lisa Pitcher. He has one brother, Brad, who is a CWU alumnus. Pitcher is majoring in sociology at CWU and plans to pursue a career in Law Enforcement.
