Biography

Mitch Yada joined the Wildcats baseball program in the fall of 2013.
 
Prior to CWU, Yada pitched at Wenathee Valley College (WA). In 2012, Yada was forced to redshirt for the Knights due to injury. Returning for his sophomore season in 2013, Yada went 6-2 with a 2.28 earned run average (ERA) in 59 innings with 41 strikeouts.
 
Yada graduated from Moses Lake High School in Moses Lake, Washington. A four-year letter winner for the Chiefs, Yada earned first team All-Big 9 honors at pitcher in both his junior and senior seasons.
 
Yada was born in Moses Lake, Washington to father Terry Yada. He has two sisters, Adrienne and Shelby. Yada is majoring in physical education at CWU and aspires to be a teacher following graduation.
