Biography

Nolan Amundson joined the Wildcat baseball program in the fall of 2013.
 
The 6’1” pitcher spent the 2012 and 2013 seasons at Lower Columbia College (WA). While playing for the Red Devils as a sophomore in 2013, Amundson compiled a 7-4 record with a 3.41 earned run average (ERA). Amundson was honored by the Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges (NWAACC) with the West Region Gold Glove. As a freshman in 2012, Amundson appeared in 13 games with a 3.43 ERA out of the bullpen, helping the Red Devils to a 2nd place finish in the NWAACC championships. Prior to Lower Columbia, Amundson redshirted at NAIA baseball powerhouse Lewis-Clark State College in 2011.
 
Amundson graduated from Timberline High School in Boise, Idaho in 2010. He was an impact performer for the Wolves, lettering four times and garnering first team All-Southern Idaho Conference (SIC) honors and was named the SIC Most Valuable Player following his senior season.
 
Amundson was born in Jerome, Idaho to Parents Todd Amundson and Trish Pascoe. He also has three brothers, Riley, Gunnar, and Hoyt. Amundson is majoring in physical education at CWU and aspires to be a physical education teacher and coach in the future.
