Central Washington University Athletics

Scott Stone joined the Wildcat baseball program in the fall of 2012. As a junior in 2013, Stone appeared in 33 games, starting 19 and compiled a batting average of .291 including eight doubles, two homeruns, and 12 runs batted in (RBI).
 
Stone transferred to CWU from Mount Hood Community College (OR) where he played his freshman and sophomore seasons. As a freshman, Stone hit .240 with four extra base hits, and five RBI, helping the Saints to a third place finish in the Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges (NWAACC) Baseball Championships. Returning for his sophomore year, he hit .243 with three doubles and 15 RBI.
 
Stone graduated from Crescent Valley High School in Corvallis, Oregon. As a team captain in his senior season, Stone earned first team All-Mid Willamette Conference honors and also earned first team All-State honors at the OSAA 5A level.
 
Stone was born in Ukiah, California to parents Bill and Jane Stone. He has one sister, Lisa. Stone is majoring in exercise science at CWU and will pursue a career in athletic training following graduation.
