Central Washington University Athletics

Skye Adams joined the Wildcat baseball program in the fall of 2012. Adams was a key force on the mound for the Wildcats in 2013; helping lead the team to a 30 win season and a runner up finish in the inaugural Great Northwest Athletic Conference (GNAC) Baseball Tournament. Adams started 10 games, winning six and compiled an earned run average (ERA) of 3.80. He was second on the team in strikeouts with 45 while walking only 15 batters. Following the season, Adams was recognized with first team All-GNAC honors for his work on the mound.
 
Prior to CWU, Adams starred at Edmonds Community College (WA). As a freshman in 2011, Adams went 6-3 for the Tritons, with a 1.66 ERA and 47 strikeouts in just 54 innings. In 2012, Adams earned second team All-West Region honors in the Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges (NWAACC) after going 4-2 with a 3.54 ERA, 71 strikeouts in 78 innings and tallying two complete games.
 
Adams graduated from Columbia River High School in Vancouver, Washington. Adams helped guide the Chieftains to back to back 3A State Tournaments in his junior and senior seasons, with a fourth place finish in his senior season.
 
Adams was born in Vancouver, Washington to parents Jason and Teresa Adams. He has one brother, Chance. Adams is majoring in education at CWU and intends to pursue a career as a teacher and coach following graduation.
