Willie Davies joined the Wildcat baseball program in the fall of 2012. As a junior in 2013 at CWU, Davies was a key member of the bullpen; helping lead the team to a 30 win season and a runner up finish in the inaugural Great Northwest Athletic Conference (GNAC) Baseball Tournament. Davies appeared in 19 games for the Wildcats, finishing with a 2.70 earned run average (ERA) and 20 strikeouts.
 
Davies played his freshman and sophomore seasons at Shoreline Community College (WA). As a freshman in 2009, Davies threw primarily out of the bullpen for the Dolphins, amassing 16 innings with a 6.13 ERA and seven strikeouts. In 2010, Davies was off to a terrific start before his season was derailed by injury and he was forced to redshirt. After sitting out the entire 2011 season due to injury, Davies returned in 2012, pitching 64 innings for the Dolphins, with a 4.17 ERA and 38 strikeouts.
 
Davies graduated from Shorecrest High School in Shoreline, Washington. As a junior in 2007, Davies helped the Highlanders to the only WIAA 3A State Tournament Appearance of his high school career.
 
Davies was born in Shoreline, Washington to parents Brad and Tessa Davies. Davies is majoring in exercise science at CWU and plans to be an athletic trainer following graduation.
