2022: Appeared in eight games, starting two... had 12 carries for 67 rushing yards... returned 10 kicks for 181 yards with a return long of 24 yards.

2021: Struggled through injury-plagued first season with the Wildcats … appeared in eight games … played in season’s first two games before missing the next three with injury … rushed for a season-high 47 yards on seven carries against Lincoln (Calif.) … scored season’s only touchdown at Eastern Washington.

Before CWU: Spent the last four seasons at FCS North Dakota … redshirted in 2017 and did not participate in the abbreviated 2020 season … in two seasons (2018, 2019) rushed for 302 and two touchdowns on 49 carries (6.0 ypc) … also caught 28 passes for 211 yards … returned 17 kicks during the 2019 season, averaging 23.9 yards per return … second-team All-FCS Independent team selection … also participated in track & field … holds UND record in 60m and long jump … two-time member of both the Dean’s List and Athletic Director’s Honor Roll.
 
High School: Spent final prep season in 2015 at Garfield High School in Seattle ... earned all-metro first team honors as a running back and defensive back ... rushed for more than 1,400 yards and 17 touchdowns, while adding six interceptions on defense ... earned two varsity letters at West Brook High School in Beaumont, Texas, before moving to the Pacific Northwest ... as a junior, earned honorable mention all-district honors after racking up 12 touchdowns and 600 rushing yards ... also an accomplished track and field sprinter during prep career.
 
Personal: Son of John McKinney and Vanessa Davis … born Sept. 30 … currently pursuing a Master’s in Sports Administration.
