Biography

2022: First Team Defense All-LSC... started all nine games participated in... finished the season with 31 total tackles, 20 solo, 11 assisted... had six tackles for loss for 15 yards... had two sacks for seven yards, one each against West Texas A&M and Angelo State... had one pass breakup against Western New Mexico... had four quarterback hurries.

2021: Played in seven games … had 12 tackles, including 2.5 tackles for loss and one quarterback sack … had a season-high 4 tackles in the CWU’s NCAA Division II playoff game at Northwest Missouri State … also blocked a kick against the Bearcats.

2020: Participated in CWU’s only game of the season against Montana … made two tackles against the Grizzlies.
 
2019: Redshirted the 2019 season.
 
2018: Did not appear in any games during the 2018 season.
 
2017: Earned first-team All-GNAC honors after recording 10 tackles for loss and 2 sacks … played in all 12 games … of his 19 tackles for the season, 12 were of the solo variety … sacks came against Simon Fraser and Azusa Pacific … also blocked two kicks.
 
2016: Played all ten games for the Wildcats... totaled 7 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss and one blocked kick. 

2015: Redshirt season. 

High School: 2015 graduate of Chiawana High School in Pasco, Wash. … coached by Steve Graff … named second-team All-State as a defensive lineman.
 
Personal: Son of Chris and Monique Penny … born Dec. 10 … has three siblings.
