Ben Wolters enters his third season with the CWU Football Team in 2026.

Wolters’ passion for football began at a young age, growing up in Ferndale, Washington, after moving from Chicago, Illinois. He played at Riverside City College, where he gained a deeper understanding of the game and the commitment needed to compete at a high level.

Following his playing career, Wolters transitioned into coaching, spending four years (2019–2023) coaching high school football and guiding young athletes in their development both on and off the field.

Wolters transitioned from being an Assistant Defensive Line Coach into the Tight Ends Coach at Central Washington University in 2026, Wolters brings his experience and energy to the Wildcats’ program. His focus is on player development, refining technique, and fostering a culture of discipline and toughness. He takes pride in mentoring student-athletes and helping them reach their full potential in football and in life.
