Braelon Roberts

Braelon Roberts begins his first season as a member of the Central Washington coaching staff in 2021. Roberts will coach the wide receivers.

Roberts, a former standout at Utah State, comes to Ellensburg after spending the last two seasons in a similar role at Black Hills State in Spearfish, S.D.

"We are excited to see what Braelon will do with our wide receiver room," CWU head coach Chris Fisk said. "He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our program."

Roberts spent one year at Black Hills State, helping develop inside and outside receivers. He was responsible for film breakdown, recruiting, assisting with practice drills, and coordinating defensive scout teams.

"I am very excited to have the opportunity to join the Central Washington University program and coaching staff," Roberts said. "I have tremendous respect for Coach Fisk and Coach Tinker. I am thrilled to become a part of the Ellensburg community and can't wait to get started."

As a student-athlete at Utah State, Roberts was a four-year letter winner and team captain for the FBS Aggies. He was a 3-year starter and appeared in 42 games. He graduated in December of 2017 with a degree in Sociology. In May of 2018, Roberts signed as a rookie free agent with the Oakland Raiders.
