2021: Turned in a strong freshman season, eventually settling in as the starter at free safety in Week 4 against Angelo State … finished fourth on the team with 50 total tackles, and second with three interceptions … collected a season-high eight tackles in playoff game at Northwest Missouri State … had seven tackles against Angelo State in his first career start … picked off passes against Midwestern State, Western Oregon (home), and Simon Fraser (home) … also broke up two passes.

High School: 2021 graduate of Aloha High School in Aloha, Ore. … played for his father, Bill Volk, at Aloha … All-State selection as a senior … three-time all-metro selection at wide receiver and twice an all-metro pick at defensive back … KOIN 6 News Athlete of the Year … four-time selection to the all-metro academic team.
 
Personal: Son of Bill and Kristin Volk … father played football at Western Oregon and is a member of the school’s athletic Hall of Fame … plans to major in Business.
