2015-16: Redshirted the 2015-16 season

VALLEY HIGH SCHOOL: Burton is a 6-foot-2 point guard from Las Vegas, Nevada and prepped at Valley High School...  He was a four-year starter for the Vikings and as a senior he led his team to a 26-5 record, 7-1 in league play, and a share of the Northeast Division title.... The point guard averaged 16 points, seven assists, four rebounds, and two steals per game....  He was the Vikings leader in assists (127) and steals (55) earning second-team all-conference as a sophomore...  Burton improved upon those numbers earning Sunrise Player of the Year recognition as a senior racking up 198 assists and 68 steals.  These numbers also garnered first-team all-state and first-team all-Sunrise Conference honors.
