Fisher enters her second season as a Graduate Assistant Coach for the Wildcats.
Helped guide the Wildcats to a 21-9 record and a 12-6 GNAC record in th 2022-2023 season. Under Fishers guidance the Wildcats made it to the second-round of the GNAC Tournament as well a second-straight appearance in the NCAA Tournament. Helped oversee the development of All-American and National Player of the Year Samantha Bowman, as well as the GNAC Freshman of the Year Asher Cai.Â
Fisher comes to Central Washington University following a stellar career at California State University in Los Angeles. Fisher graduated from CSU-LA in 2021 in Psychology and is currently studying at CWU getting her master's degree in Athletic Administration.Â
Over her time at CSU-LA Fisher started over 90 games and helped the Golden Eagles represent on the national level as she not only lead the team in assists her junior and senior seasons, but she also finished second in the nation in assists to turnover ratio during the 2021-22 season.Â
Fisher is also the recipient of the Dr. Hal Charnofsky Award which is "an award presented by the California Collegiate Athletic Association for exemplary commitment to athletic and academic pursuits." On top of that Fisher was also awarded to the CCAA winter all-academic team for three years in a row.Â
CWU isn't her first coaching venture as she was an assistant coach for her alma mater Chaminade High School during the 2020-21 season in which they compiled a 21-4 record.Â
A native of Simi Valley, California, Fisher graduated from Chaminade HS in 2017. Fisher helped guide the Eagles to a state championship in 2016.
Basketball runs through her blood as her twin brother Kyle works at Core Prep Academy in California as a lead basketball trainer while being an assistant coach at Royal High School in Simi Valley. Her older brother Bryan is an assistant coach at fellow GNAC member Western Oregon University.Â
