CENTRAL WASHINGTON UNIVERSITY: Terry Dawn joined the Wildcat basketball program in the fall of 2013 after a standout career at Arlington High School in Arlington, Wash. Dawn played 23 games, averaging 1.9 points and 1.3 rebounds per game for CWU. Terry led the team with the highest free-throw percentage of 92 percent.
HIGH SCHOOL: Dawn was a four-year letterman for the Eagles in basketball and also lettered twice in football. As a senior, Dawn averaged 19.5 points, 6.5 rebounds per game and two assists per game. Following the season, he received first-team All-WESCO north honors and was named the WESCO North Player of the Year. He went on to be named to the all-area team and was named to the 4A all-state second-team. In addition, he was named to the Washington Interscholastic Athletic Association (WIAA) all-tournament team after leading the Eagles to a fifth place finish in the 4A state tournament in 2013.
PERSONAL: Dawn was born in Mount Vernon, Wash., to his parents, Troy and Lori Dawn. He is majoring in finance and supply chain management at CWU. When Terry is not on the court, he enjoys playing video games, such as “Madden.” Terry frequently listens to Jay Z to get him pumped for a big game.
