2021: Started 14 of her 18 appearances for the Wildcats... had 29 total kills... had 7 assists... had 18 service aces... had 111 digs... had 1 solo block and 2 block assists... named to GNAC All-Academic team. 

2020: Appeared in 6 matches for the Wildcats...had 27 kills averaging 1.50 per set...had 8 service aces...had 39 digs...had 4 blocks.

2019: Played in six matches for the Wildcats, started once... played nine total sets... had 13 kills averaging 1.44 kills per set... earned one service ace. 

High School: Laynie Erickson played her high school volleyball at La Center High School ...She was an outside hitter, standing 5-9 ... Erickson earned four varsity letters, picking up accolades along the way ... As a junior and senior, she earned All-League most valuable player honors ... As a sophomore, she earned First Team All-League as well as All-State Honorable Mention... As a senior she broke the schools record for 1000+ digs and 1000+ kills and earned an First Team All-State Selection in 2018... participated in Track & Field all four years... competed in the state title race for the 400m dash in 2016...  took 9th in state for Javelin in 2017... competed in the 4x200 dash at the state tournament in 2018... took 9th in state for Javelin in 2019... was a 2016 All-League Honorable Mention for basketball... was a member of the National Honors Society... was class president in 9th, 10th & 12th grade... was the La Centre Volleyball Club assistant coach. 

Why CWU?: "College town, love the team and the coaches, and I'm able to work at the radio station on campus!"

Personal: Daughter of January & Todd Erickson... has one younger sister... is pursuing her degree in Digital Journalism.
