ELLENSBURG (Oct. 27) -- Sophomore HADLI FARRAND (Ellensburg) had two goals and an assist, and three of Central Washington University's four women's soccer seniors scored at least one point as the Wildcats shut out visiting Simon Fraser University, 5-0, on Saturday afternoon at the CWU Soccer Field.

The Wildcats finished the 2012 campaign with a 6-10-2 overall record, including 5-8-1 in Great Northwest Athletic Conference contests. Simon Fraser finished its season at 1-16-0 overall and 0-14-0 in the conference.

Farrand scored at the 25th minute of Saturday's game for her first collegiate goal, which gave the Wildcats a 2-0 lead at the time. She later assisted on senior CARSON MCKOLE's (Oak Harbor) goal at the 50th minute before finding the goal again at the 55th minute. Farrand came into the game with six career assists.

CWU dominated Simon Fraser offensively throughout the contest, holding a 14-2 shots advantage in the first half en route to a 23-10 edge overall. Sophomore SAVANNA MOOREHOUSE (Bonney Lake) scored her first career goal at the fifth minute off assists from sophomore TAYLOR STANLEY (Mukilteo/Kamiak HS) and senior ALLIE WASHBURN (Bremerton/Central Kitsap HS). In addition to it being Moorehouse's first career goal, the assist was the first of Washburn's career in the defender's 67th career game.

McKole pushed the lead to 3-0 with her eighth goal of the season, and the 23rd of her career, which moved her into sole possession of fourth on the CWU career goal-scoring list. Senior KELSY VILLEGAS (Graham/Graham-Kapowsin HS) started the play with a throw-in, which Farrand then dribbled and passed quickly to McKole for the goal.

Villegas scored an unassisted goal at the 74th minute for the game's final tally -- her sixth of the year and 12th of her three-year CWU career. She dribbled the ball to the center of the field and blasted a direct shot from 20 yards away.

A pair of Wildcats split time in the goal, as sophomore KAYLA LIPSTON (Federal Way/Decatur HS) made one first-half save before redshirt freshman AMANDA WHITE (Maple Valley/Tahoma HS) had four stops over the final 45 minutes of play.

Villegas, McKole, Washburn, and KYLEE VILLEGAS (Graham/Graham-Kapowsin HS) all finished their CWU playing careers on Saturday, as the Wildcats won their season finale for the first time since 2008.
