UPCOMING WEEK OF CWU BASKETBALL
This week the Central Washington University men's basketball team will face off against Western Washington University for a showdown that everyone has been waiting to see.Â
Mark McLaughlin's CWU career point total now ranks
15th all-time after playing The University of Alaska Anchorage this past weekend. He overcame his 1,000 point plateau to finish the Alaska trip with 1,009 points in his career.  The 6-6 senior from Kenmore, WA became the fastest player in Great Northwest Athletic Conference history to reach 1,000 points. Senior forward, JB Pillard, also played two of his best games, leading all scorers with 23 points against UAA on Saturday night. Central Washington will play Western Washington this Thursday at 7 p.m., as well as Simon Fraser University on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. in Nicholson Pavilion.
The Wildcat women will also participate in the double header this weekend, playing their travel partners, Northwest Nazarene, on Saturday night at 5:15 p.m. Sophomore forward/center,
