ELLENSBURG, Wash. (Oct. 11) – The Central Washington University women's soccer team lost to Montana State Billings 2-1, with the Yellowjackets scoring the go-ahead goal with less than five minutes left in regulation Saturday afternoon at the CWU Soccer Complex.
With the loss the Wildcats stumble to 5-61 on the season and 4-3-1 in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference. Montana State Billings improved its record to 6-2-2, 4-2-2 in the GNAC and jumps the Wildcats in the conference Standings.

st minute of the first half, senior
Hadli Farrand scored an impressive equalizing goal from 40 yards out, finding the back left of the MSUB net.
"In a game where we were struggling, Hadli found an opportunity and hit from 40 yards out," CWU Head Coach
Michael Farrand said. "Good players step up when their team needs it and she did just that. The distance and angle of her goal showed the quality of player that she is."
The Wildcats had multiple opportunities to take the lead in the second-half but where unable to score. With just 4:17 left in the contest a Wildcat defensive breakdown led to a one-on-one opportunity for Yellowjacket forward Alisa Sagdahl and she beat
Kayla Lipston to score the game winning goal for the visitors.
"We had a good run these last few games, player well together and today we struggled to find the game," Farrand added. "we had our opportunities but we just couldn't find a way to take advantage of them."
Montana State Billings had a slight 12-10 shot advantage over the Wildcats and had four shots on goal, two more than CWU.
The Wildcats return to action next Thursday, Oct. 16 when they travel to Western Oregon University, their first of a four game road trip.
