"We had a great non-conference schedule this season with Stanislaus being one of the top teams regionally and nationally," Head Coach
Michael Farrand said. "It presented us with a chance to move forward as a program. I think overall defensively we gave up a couple soft goals, but I also think we showed some resilience getting back. We scored three quality goals today. I am disappointed we gave up the fourth goal. It put more pressure on us late, but I think by scoring that last goal, under with under 10 seconds, it showed we weren't going to give anything up and we are going to keep battling as we head into conference play against Concordia on Saturday."
The Wildcats finished with 11 shots and four corners. White totaled seven saves. Nolte found the score sheet twice with a pair of assists. Lowe's goal was the second of her season.
Central Washington will be back in action on Sept. 19, as the Wildcats take on Concordia University (Ore.) in their first Great Northwest Athletic Conference match of the season. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. in Portland, Ore.
