SPOKANE, Wash. - Junior
Johan Correa set an indoor school record in the men's 800-meter race at the Spokane Invitational today at The Podium as 24 Wildcats competed in the second meet of the indoor season.
Correa finished with a time of 1:53.97, good for third place in the event, and finished as the 'Cat's top finisher on the day. After today's meet, he ranks first in the GNAC in the event.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Angus Beaton was the next top men's finisher for the Wildcats. He finished fifth in the men's weight throw with a mark of 15.52 meters and is second in the GNAC in the event.. On the women's side,
Keanna Krueger was the top placer with an eighth-place finish in the women's pole vault with a height of 3.15 meters.
In the men's 600-meter race,
Austin Albertin finished with a time of 1:24.58, good for seventh in the event.
Aiden Wise earned an eighth-place finish with a time of 8.65 in the men's 60-meter hurdles. In the prelims, he set a new personal record (8.46 seconds), ranking second in the GNAC.
In the women's 200-meter race and ranking first in the GNAC,
Juliette Williams ended 14th with a time of 25.65.
Elise Hopper impressed in the women's 400-meter race, finishing with a 58.56 time. With a 1.61 meter mark,
Kylie Griffin leads the GNAC at women's high jump.

The Wildcats will be back in action on January 13 and 14 in Spokane, Wash. for the Spokane Indoor Challenge at The Podium.
