The Wildcats tremendous offense led to their 111-38 win Monday night against the Evergreen State Geoducks. Central led 54-19 at half time and continued their electric offense to secure the victory. CWU had five players in double figures, led by
Matt Poquette and
Camron McNeil scoring 17 points each.
Mitch Brizee had a double double scoring 16 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. The 'Cats shot 69% from the field, made 7 threes, and went 55% from the charity stripe.
SCOUTING LANGARA
The Falcons are currently 3-4 overall and 3-3 in PACWEST conference play. They played Western Washington University on Monday. Western Washington won 135-87. In the loss, Royce Sargeant led Langara scoring 16 points. He went 7-15 from the field and 2-4 from the free throw line. Jas Dhudwal added 14 points for the Falcons on 7-13 shooting. Dhudwal led the team in rebounds, totaling eleven boards. The Falcons scored 52 points in the paint, 13 on fast breaks, 9 off turnovers, and 7 second chance points. Langara's bench chipped in for 36 points.
SCOUTING WALLA WALLA
Walla Walla is currently (0-7) overall and (0-3) in NAIA play. The Wolves will face Bushnell University and Corban University before taking on Central Washington on Monday. In their last game the Wolves fell to Linfield University 74-51. Ethan Ford propelled the offense for Walla Walla scoring 19 points on 4-8 from the field and 10-11 from the free throw line. Britt Murray with 8 rebounds, 7 of them defensive. Ford and Golden both dished out 3 assists on the night.
The 'Cats are 1-0 against Langara and 10-0 all-time against Walla Walla.
