PORTLAND, Ore. – Central Washington men's basketball senior guard Bradley Swillie has been named to the 2026-27 GNAC Men's Basketball Preseason All-Conference Team, recognizing him as one of the conference's top returning players entering the upcoming season.

Quoting CWU Men's Basketball Head Coach Brandon Rinta
"Brad has had a great three years here at CWU. Last year he took a big step in multiple areas of his game. We are looking forward to that growth continuing this season."

A native of Tacoma, Washington, Swillie enters his fourth season as one of the Wildcats' most experienced and decorated players. The 6-foot-5 guard earned Honorable Mention All-GNAC honors last season after averaging 14.6 points per game, ranking second on the team and 12th in the conference. He also contributed 3.8 assists and 3.6 rebounds per game, establishing himself as one of CWU's most versatile backcourt players.

Swillie closed the 2025-26 campaign on a strong note, scoring at least 20 points in three of his final five contests, including a 22-point performance against Saint Martin's in the GNAC Semifinals. His continued development has made him a key leadership figure for the Wildcats entering the new season.

The senior is also the only player on the current roster who was a member of both Central Washington's 2024 GNAC Championship team and the 2024-25 GNAC regular-season championship squad. His experience and winning pedigree will be invaluable as the Wildcats look to contend for another conference title.

Entering the season, Swillie sits within reach of a significant career milestone. Over 82 games in a CWU uniform, he has accumulated 920 career points and 194 assists, putting him on pace to join the prestigious 1,000-point club during the upcoming season.

Swillie and the Wildcats will open the 2026-27 season by hosting the CWU D2 Tip-Off Classic at Nicholson Arena. The Wildcats begin the tournament on Oct. 30 against Chico State before facing Cal State San Bernardino on Oct. 31. CWU wraps up the three-day event on Nov. 1 against Lubbock Christian, with all three games scheduled for 3 p.m. tipoffs in Ellensburg.
