ELLENSBURG, Wash. - The Central Washington University women's soccer team will look to bounce back from an 0-1-1 road trip in Colorado as they take on the Northwest Nazarene Nighthawks at Tomlinson Stadium on Thursday, Sept. 15. Kickoff is slated for 3:00 p.m.

The Nighthawks travel to Ellensburg with a 2-1-1 record, having defeated their last two opponents. They've scored eight goals on the year, led by midfielder Madison Grande who's registered three goals and 18 shots through four games.

The most recent outing for the Nighthawks came against Westminster. They fell behind early but climbed back to win 2-1, including a 73rd-minute game-winner.

After their matchup against the Nighthawks, the Wildcats will take on the MSU Billings Yellowjackets on Saturday, Sept. 17, at noon.

The Yellowjackets currently own an 0-3-2 record and have scored two goals so far on the season. MSUB has tied their last two matches, both with a score of 1-1.

The Wildcats currently have a 1-2-1 record through four games. In their recent road trip in Colorado, they played #22 UC-Colorado Springs to a scoreless draw and lost 0-1 to MSU Denver.

Emily Darcy, who leads the team in goals (2) and shots (10) through the early stretch of the season.

CWU's defense, led by
Kassandra Jaggard in goal, has only allowed four goals thus far. They'll look to stop a hot NNU attack that's averaging two goals per game.

Jaggard received GNAC Defensive Player of the Week honors for performance against Colorado Springs and MSU Denver recently. She totaled eight saves across the two matches.
