QUOTING HEAD COACH KEVIN ADKISSON
"UW is always a good palace to get some very high-level competition for our top athletes. We look forward to seeing what we can get out of the weekend in terms of some new bests, including new national qualifiers or conference leaders."

ABOUT THE MEET
The Wildcats will travel 13 athletes to the meet spanning across Friday and Saturday. Despite traveling a smaller group, the team will look to continue some of the impressive numbers hit last weekend at the Lauren McCluskey Memorial Open.

The team is coming off a weekend where four athletes (Johan Correa, Braydon Maier, Erica Cabanos, and Elise Hopper) swept the weekly GNAC Track & Field awards. Correa set the school record in the mile run while Maier surpassed the NCAA Indoor Championships provisional score in the heptathlon. Hopper put up a conference-leading number in the 400-meter dash and Cabanos registered a season's best in the triple jump.
