PORTLAND, Ore. – 11 Central Washington University Men's Track & Field athletes were honored by the Great Northwest Athletic Conference, the conference announced Monday after noon as members of the Men's Track & Field All-Academic Team, presented by Barnes & Noble College.
Three Wildcats are grabbing their second distinction in their careers with all three being featured on the 2025 Academic All-GNAC Team. Hometown hero
Chase Perez grabs his second distinction after earning a 3.41 GPA in BioChemistry. Gilbert, Arizona native
Charles Pieper is still undecided on his major, but has earned a 3.27 GPA. Rounding out the second-year honorees is
Trevion Walker, a native of Caldwell, Idaho, who has a 3.69 GPA in Apparel, Textiles, and Merchandise.
The other eight honorees are earning their first Academic All-GNAC distinction in their careers, highlighted by East Wenatchee, Wash. native
Ethan Moore grabbing a perfect 4.0 GPA in Applied Mathematics.
Matthew Bender, another East Wenatchee, Wash. native has a 3.98 GPA in Environmental Science while
Boogy Brown, a Lake Stevens, Wash. native has a 3.68 GPA in Business Administration. Walla Walla, Wash. native
Ian Calhoon has a 3.68 GPA in Exercise Science.
Senior
Luke Hurd, a Cheney, Wash. native, will end his career as a member of the Academic All-GNAC Team with a 3.79 GPA in BioChemistry.
Max Hutton, a Yakima, Wash. native, has a 3.32 GPA in Electronics Engineering Technology. Fellow senior
Drew Klein, an Auburn, Wash. native has a 3.21 GPA in Physical Education & School Health.
Charles Naught, a Yakima, Wash. native, rounds out the honorees this year after earning a 3.96 GPA in Biology.
