2026 USTFCCCA All-Academic

Track and Field

Both Men's & Women's Teams as well as 11 Student-Athletes Honored with USTFCCCA All-Academic Awards

NEW ORLEANS – Both Central Washington University Track & Field squads were named USTFCCCA All-Academic Teams, the association announced Monday. Along with both squads being recognized, 11 student-athletes were recognized for their accomplishments both on the track and in the classroom.
 
To be nominated as a USTFCCCA All-Academic Team, the team must have a cumulative GPA for all student-athletes on the squad list of 3.0 or higher out of a 4.0 scale. The CWU Men's Track & Field Team qualified for the honor with a 3.27 team GPA while the Women's Track & Field Team qualified for the honor with a 3.35 team GPA.
 
Boogy Brown and Colton Magruder represented the men's team as USTFCCCA All-Academic Athletes while Ellie DeGroot, Layla Fields, Zoe Gonzales, Maddy Harrison, Carley Huber, Donna Marie Harris, Azariah Miller, Tehya Moore, and Emy Ntekpere represented the women's team as USTFCCCA All-Academic Athletes. To earn this distinction, athletes must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher on a 4.0 scale, must have been academically eligible at the NCAA National Championships, must have finished the season among the top 50 individuals on TFRRS or have participated at a National Championship this season, and/or must have competed as a member of one of the top 35 relay teams on TFRRS.
 
Brown is earning his degree in Business Administration while Magruder is majoring in Construction Management. DeGroot is earning her degree in Clinical Physiology, Fields is earning her degree in Exercise Science, Gonzales is studying Pre-Nursing, Harrison is studying Business Administration, Huber is earning her degree in Clinical Physiology, Harris is studying Social Studies/History Teaching, Miller is earning her degree in Psychology, Moore is studying Forensic Psychology, and Ntekpere is earning her degree in Clinical Physiology.
