NAMPA, Id. - After giving up a first half goal, the Central Washington University women's soccer team scored twice in the final 10 minutes to earn a 2-1 win over Northwest Nazarene Saturday afternoon, advancing to 3-10 (2-6 GNAC).

FIRST HALF
- Northwest Nazarene controlled the pace early, recording the first two shots of the afternoon. Emily Darcy would respond for the Wildcats, rattling off a couple of shots, one of which forced a save from the NNU goalkeeper.
- The Nighthawks would find the back of the net in the 26th minute, as Alejandra Jaramillo capitalized on a mistake by CWU. The Nighthawks led 0-1.
- Tatum Zuber would record the only other shot before halftime, missing high right.
SECOND HALF
- The Wildcats would struggle to generate a lot of offensive pressure in the early portions of the second half, with NNU taking the first shots of the half.
- The magic started in the 84th minute when the 'Cats picked up a corner kick. Zuber lofted the ball deep where Casey Park got up, made strong contact, and tied the game up at 1-1. Park leads the Wildcats with three goals on the season.
- The magic continued in the 89th minute. Darcy dribbled the ball inside the NNU box and caught the NNU goalie off guard with a quick shot, putting the Wildcats in the lead 2-1 with a minute remaining.Â

The Wildcats (3-10, 2-6 GNAC) will return home after spending the last two weeks on the road for matchups against Simon Fraser on Thursday, Oct. 19, and Western Washington on Saturday, Oct. 21, for homecoming.
