SEATTLE, Wash. - Central Washington Women's Soccer earned the scoreless tie against #24 Seattle Pacific on Thursday night.
Casey Park and
Lily Newberry took hard shots on goal in the final five minutes, but SPU's Landry Schoennauer made the saves to preserve the tie.
Mallory Patzer was stellar in net for the 'Cats and made four saves to earn her first shutout of the season.

FIRST HALF
- Casey Park got the 'Cats offense going with a low shot saved by Schoennauer in the 18th minute.Â
- Seattle Pacific turned up their offensive pressure and unleashed the next seven shots. Mallory Patzer was strong in goal and made three key stops.Â
- Cameron Sheets unleashed a low shot at Schoennauer, who turned it aside to preserve the scoreless tie going into the break.
SECOND HALF
- Addy Seher launched a low screamer in the 56th minute that Schoennauer saved.
- Seattle Pacific controlled the offensive side of the ball for the next 30 minutes, which resulted in seven shots with one on target that Patzer corralled.
- The Wildcats weren't done and had consecutive chances in the 85th minute. Lily Newberry found space and tested the lower left corner which Schoennauer couldn't handle cleanly. Casey Park got the rebound, but her shot got blocked out in front.
- Central Washington's defense stepped up big and only allowed four shots on goal in a match where the Falcons registered 16 shots.
