HAYWARD, California. – Central Washington Baseball used 12 hits to take down Cal State East Bay 13-7 in game three of the series. In the final game of the series, the Pioneers won 4-2.
QUOTING HEAD COACH DESI STOREY
"Overall, we have pitched it way better. Yesterday we made errors in the first inning. If we don't do that it could be a different outcome. Our pitchers are getting ground balls, but we are throwing them away. Daniel got us late in the game and Aaron threw well."
Storey adds, "Game two was a close one, we got the lead, and then we got behind in the count and hit a guy who ended up scoring. We gave up runs late, we need to be better in low-scoring games. The guys are learning and getting better."
