CLACKAMAS, Ore. - Brayde Hirai has picked up his second GNAC Baseball Pitcher of the Week award in the early portion of the 2023 season, the conference office announced today.

"Another great outing," Head Coach Desi Storey said. "He has been very,very good and showing his maturity."
 
In the Wildcat's first game of the weekend, Hirai pitched 8.1 scoreless innings, recording two strikeouts, and didn't allow a run as the 'Cats beat Stanislaus State 6-0 on Friday, Feb. 17.
 
Last week, Hirai was named GNAC Baseball Pitcher of the Week for a shutout, eight-inning performance against Cal State East Bay.
 
The Wildcats (3-10) will open their home campaign with a pair of doubleheaders this upcoming weekend against Western Oregon and Saint Martin's.
