BELLINGHAM, Wash. - The Central Washington University track & field team saw a pair of provisional qualifying improvements from
E'lexis Hollis and
Johan Correa on Saturday as the Wildcats competed at the Ralph Vernacchia Invitational and the Oregon State High Performance Meet.

ABOUT THE MEETS:
- Hollis ran an 11.63 in the 100-meter dash, finishing in 1st place and improving her school record by 0.15 seconds. She remains second in the GNAC but improved to 25th in the nation.
- Correa finished 2nd in the 800-meter dash with a time of 1:50.78, a PR. He improved his provisional qualifying time by 0.29 seconds, is 4th in the GNAC, and 31st in the nation.
- Lauryn Chandler earned another win in the 100-meter hurdles at 14.11 seconds.
- With McCall DeChenne resting ahead of the GNAC Combined Championships, Grace Twiss recorded the win in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:03.83, a PR. She added another PR in the 100-meter dash (12.01).
- Juliette Williams finished 2nd in the 200-meter dash, clocking in at 25.03 seconds. She also lowered her PR in the 100-meter dash to 12.01 seconds.
- Isaiah Webster placed 3rd in the high jump (6' 0.5") and the triple jump (43' 9.75").
- Wyatt Franklin earned a 3rd-place finish in the shot put (48' 0", a PR). He added a PR in the discus throw (149' 9").
- Logan Martin logged a PR and 3rd-place finish in the hammer throw with a 179' 2" launch.
- Austin Albertin finished 3rd in the 400-meter hurdles, clocking in at 53.81 seconds.
- In the triple jump, Erica Cabanos leaped 36' 2.25" on her way to finishing 3rd.
- Deylan Okinaka also earned a 3rd place finish with a 14' 0" mark in the pole vault.
- The men's 4x400 relay team of Albertin, Correa, Cantrell Thomas, and Webster finished 2nd with a time of 3:18.80.
- Other Wildcats to record PRs include Brenna Board (shot put & hammer throw), Jazmin Mendoza (shot put & hammer throw), Isabella Holmes (discus throw & javelin throw), Kiarra Green (long jump & high jump), Cantrell Thomas (200-meter & 400-meter), Angus Beaton (hammer throw), Christopher Hines (javelin), Donna Marie Harris (high jump), Tehya Moore (long jump), Zack Sundt (800-meter), Zoe McDevitt (400-meter), Steiner Christensen (5000-meter), Reilly Williams (400-meter), Hudson Moore (100-meter), Jeshua Manwell (long jump), and Alexa Neff (3000-meter steeplechase).

The Wildcats will send six athletes to the GNAC Combined Championships on Monday and Tuesday. Next weekend, the team will be split up for a pair of meets in Ore.
